My Approach to Adventure Photography

the world. I went on to study film photography through high school and college, earning a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography with dreams of becoming an editorial sports photographer for surf and ski magazines — spending my days outside capturing movement, light, and energy in wild places.
That foundation shaped everything I do now. I began photographing my outdoorsy friends’ weddings, bringing the same adventure-driven eye and technical precision into meaningful, real-life moments. With experience in both digital and film, and a deep comfort working outdoors, I combine fine art training with an instinct for landscape and movement — creating imagery that feels intentional, alive, and rooted in the environment.
grew up in my grandfather’s darkroom, learning to develop film by hand before I was tall enough to reach the enlarger comfortably. He gave me my first camera at twelve, and from that point on, photography wasn’t a hobby - it was how I saw
